REMINDER

Dance Picture Days are Saturday May 17th and Sunday May 18th

You can find the picture day schedule here. 

Photo sessions are held at Sole City Dance.

***Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled photo time with your order forms completed, hair and makeup done and costumes on. You will want to have your dancer wear a lightened up version of their stage makeup for picture day to highlight their features in the photos. For hair and makeup videos you can reference this past newsletter.

• Please note that we have a very tight schedule. To stay on schedule, it is crucial that you arrive on time. We are unable to wait for tardy dancers, as this pushes everyone else back.

• Please attend photos even if you do not plan to place an order, as it is important we have the entire class present for the group photo. If you know you are unable to attend please have your dancer tell their instructor.

• The order forms are available on the shelf by the black bulletin board and on the website. Order forms MUST be handed in at time of photos, please have them filled out and ready.

Payment is cash or check only! Checks can be made out to Austin Studios. If you want to use one check to pay for multiple orders just write the check number on the order forms. 

Each class has a Performance Appearance image uploaded to the class resources. To access you'll log into the portal, via the website or SCD App. Click on My Account, and scroll down until you see the class card for the class/es your child is enrolled, on the class card you'll see View Resources, click on View Resources and see Performance Appearance. That will open a image of the costume, with hair instructions, costume instructions, and shoes.

For videos on hair and makeup application you can find them in this past newsletter. The main reason we wear makeup is to enhance the dancer’s natural features so their faces don’t get washed out with the bright stage lights.

SCD App

We now have an SCD APP! This is an easy way to register for classes, find newsletters, receive notifications, and submit absences.

All last-minute notifications for class cancellations will come through the app. We are in the time of illnesses and soon to be in the time of winter weather so be sure to have the app downloaded and activated so you don’t miss anything!

Download the SCD App, request a code to activate your account, click My Account, and log in using your portal credentials. Make sure your notifications are turned on.

The SCD App is available in the Apple Store and Google Play.
