Spring Fundraiser

Help us raise funds to cover our winter maintenance fees and help yourself as well! For every 5 calendars your dance sells you’ll get a $25 credit added to your account to help with costume fees or tuition. Calendars are $15 each and all raffle slips must be returned to the front desk by 3/6. Calendars can be picked up in the waiting room. We have some great prizes and some special surprises too!

Hounsell Tap Scholarship Recipient

This annual scholarship will be awarded to two Sole City Dance students studying the genre of tap dance; one current Sole City Dance student and one high school graduating student, each receiving an award of $250 to go toward their continued study of dance.

In establishing this scholarship, the Board of Trustees and the Sole City Dance community wish to honor the heart of dance and dedication which Christine has demonstrated throughout her career.

This year’s current student recipient is Madelyn P! Congratulations Maddy!

DNE Master Classes

Our annual dance festival weekend, Dance Northeast, takes place on March 11th and 12th. We have two performances at the Rochester Opera House on Saturday, March 11th, and a day of master classes at our studio on Sunday, March 12th.

The 2 pm performance showcases student choreography and junior companies from our community. The 7 pm performance showcases senior companies from our community.

We are thrilled to be offering master classes for beginner/intermediate dancers ages 8+ and for intermediate/advance dancers ages 11+.
