Congratulations to all the dancers this past weekend! You all did such an amazing job! Huge thank you to all the volunteers and families that came to support the show and SCD this weekend!!

Today is NH Gives the giving starts at 5 pm!

NH Gives is the single largest day of giving in the state of New Hampshire. We are working to raise funds for our scholarship program. Our scholarship program offers tuition assistance to any student who applies. Amounts are awarded based on need but any student that applies will receive assistance. The scholarship only covers monthly tuition fees in an effort to assist more students. We are working on expanding our scholarship program and creating an endowment to assist students with costume fees and dancewear for those in the program. Help us build up our scholarship fund for the 2023-2024 dance season! Last dance season we awarded over $5,500 which allowed us to give students the opportunity to attend classes they otherwise would not have been able to. On average we awarded over $100 each month to our scholarship families. A $50 donation would cover half of the scholarship award for one family for one month.

Throughout the next 24 hours, there are many incentives and donation matches that are going on. Your donation will go a long way!

Summer dance and our June Pop-ups are great ways to continue your training or try a new style. We offer 3 weeks of individual classes during the month of June. The remainder of the summer we offer classes, camps, and intensives. Our summer class session runs for 5 weeks it begins Monday, July 10th, and runs until Thursday, August 10th.

Fall Evaluations

Evaluations and level recommendations have been posted to student resources or listed under the student skills section.

All Dance Explore, all Dance Works, Lil’ Hip Hoppers, Ballet Prim, Modern Mini’s, Teen Modern 1/2, Jazz Mini’s and Lil’ Tappers recommendations are posted in your student’s skill section. Log into your portal either online or on the app, click My Account, scroll down and you’ll see your students listed (if they aren’t there click on the three lines in the upper right hand corner and click Account), click View next to the student, and then click Skills, scroll down and click on View Skill Details for the class you are viewing.

All other classes will have their evaluations uploaded to the student resources. Follow the same directions as above but instead of clicking on Skills click Resources, and click View Resource for the class.

I’m hoping to post the fall schedule within the next few weeks. Fall registration will open around July 1st. Possibly sooner if you have your app downloaded.

**We are still working on getting Miss Jacqui’s class evaluations completed and uploaded. We’ll message those classes via the app once they are done.

Level Changes for the Fall

We are re-organizing the class levels to align better with the ABT levels. If you notice your placement for the fall is the same or lower than this past year don’t get caught up on it. You will still be with the correct group and progressing forward. All styles will end at level 5.

SCD App

We now have an SCD APP! This is an easy way to register for classes, find newsletters, receive notifications, and submit absences. All last-minute notifications will come through the app we will no longer use text notifications. Be sure to download the SCD App, request a code to activate your account, click My Account, and log in using your portal credentials.

The SCD App is available in the Apple Store and Google Play.
