Join one of our performance companies for the upcoming dance year!

Sole City Dance is pleased to offer two student dance companies, Solstice Dance Company, and The Young Company, which provide the opportunity for students who are passionate about the art of dance to:

1. learn challenging choreography at a faster pace.

2. participate in additional performance and learning opportunities.

3. become more self-aware, self-confident, and supportive of fellow artists; and

4. learn how to make a difference in their community through the power of their art.

Philosophy & Information:   

All are welcome to join the various companies Sole City Dance offers based on your dancer’s age. The Solstice Dance Company is open to dancers ages 13+, and The Young Company is open to dancers ages 8-12. Company class is mandatory for all company members on Fridays.

Company Requirements:

• Companies are open to those enrolled in classes ages 8+.

• Company members must take at least one technique class per week to participate. We strongly recommend being enrolled in a ballet class as it will help you improve in all styles.

Fall registration is now open!

Just a couple of quick notes.

All multi-class and package discounts need to be applied manually. Once I have added all appropriate discounts I will send you a note to review your account to make sure it’s correct. Payment for the first month of classes is due at the time of registration to guarantee your spot or once I send along the note after discounts have been applied.

If you’d prefer to pay annually or semesterly go into your portal, select Billing & Payments, click on membership type, and select either annual or semester. I need to make those adjustments manually and will send you a note once that has been updated.

The scholarship and work-study applications are updated. You can start applying now. All applications are due by August 18th. Your application isn’t complete until you email me the required financial documents or drop them off at the studio.

SCD App

We now have an SCD APP! This is an easy way to register for classes, find newsletters, receive notifications, and submit absences. All last-minute notifications will come through the app we will no longer use text notifications. Be sure to download the SCD App, request a code to activate your account, click My Account, and log in using your portal credentials.

The SCD App is available in the Apple Store and Google Play.
