Hello All,

I have a quick but important favor to ask regarding trash and recycling at the studio. Since we don’t have a dumpster or curbside pickup, everything has to be taken offsite for disposal. To make this easier on everyone:

• Please do not put liquids in the trash. Before tossing cups, dump any leftover drinks and ice into the kitchen sink and rinse it down.

• Recycling should only include: paper, cardboard, empty aluminum cans, empty plastic water bottles, and clean/empty plastic coffee cups (no straws). A reminder sign is posted above the bin.

Last week, I found food, tissues, and other non-recyclables mixed in with the recycling, which makes it difficult to sort and dispose of properly. A little extra care will go a long way in keeping things clean and manageable.

From Monday, October 13 through Saturday, October 18, students may bring a friend to join them in class for FREE!

✨ What your friend needs:

• No dance experience required

• No special shoes or attire—just comfortable clothes to move in

• A positive attitude and willingness to try something new

✨ How it works:

1. Give your friend the invitation form.

2. Make sure it’s filled out completely and signed by a parent/guardian.

3. Bring your friend and the completed form with you to class during Bring a Friend Week.

4. Friends may attend one complimentary class per invitation (one invite per class you are enrolled in).

✨ Special Rewards:

• For every friend you bring (one per class), you’ll be entered into a raffle to win an SCD Logo Item!

• If your friend registers on the same day, both of you will receive $10 off one month of tuition!

Please note: Aerial classes and Company are excluded from Bring a Friend Week.

We are open 10/30 and 10/31

Just a reminder that we are open on Thursday, October 30 and Friday, October 31.
If your dancer will miss class due to Trick-or-Treat, please submit the absence in the parent portal in advance or contact the front desk at reception@solecitydance.org.

Costume Week

Students are welcome to wear their Halloween costume or an old dance costume to class during the week of October 27–31. Please make sure costumes allow safe movement in class.

We recommend wearing dance attire underneath in case a costume needs to be removed.

Note: Proper aerial dress code still applies.
