Fall Registration Opened July 1st! Hopefully, you had the SCD app downloaded and activated so you got the notification! If not make sure you do before the dance year begins. We use the push feature for last-minute studio closures and important reminders.

If a class you are trying to register for is full please put your name on the waitlist. We do everything we can to find a spot for everyone. If we have a high demand we may be able to add a class.

I’ll be reviewing everyone’s registrations to make sure the system is applying discounts correctly and for those that pay annual or semesterly, I’ll need to make those changes manually. Once I’ve reviewed your account I’ll let you know.

If you missed the last newsletter from June 25th. You can find it here. If you didn’t read it I highly encourage you to do so. Due to some calendar changes, we’ve had to shift our installments from 10 to 9. So the annual tuition is split into 9 payments this year instead of 10. The annual tuition has gone down due to the dance year being one less week. It’s explained in the linked newsletter but if you have any questions after reading it over let me know.

I’m going on vacation!

It’s been a minute since I’ve been away from the studio for any amount of time and for those of you who have been around for the past few years you know it hasn’t been an easy journey. I’m taking some time to celebrate hopefully the end of the nonsense I’ve dealt with these past few years. I will be out of the country from July 13th to the 25th. I’ll be back responding to emails on Monday, July 29th. The front desk staff will be holding down the fort and monitoring the info email address in my absences. If they are unable to answer your question they will pass it along to me and I’ll get back to you when I return. If you have anything important you need answered or need from me before I leave please reach out sooner rather than later.

Summer classes begin Monday, July 8th! We have adjusted the schedule based on enrollment but we do still have some openings and have added a few new classes. The new classes are Adult Beg Aerial on Tuesdays and Adult Beginner Jazz on Thursdays. We’ve also had some spots open in the Little Flyers classes!

You can now access the digital recordings from the dance concert. They are located in the online store on the website.

SCD App

We now have an SCD APP! This is an easy way to register for classes, find newsletters, receive notifications, and submit absences. All last-minute notifications will come through the app we will no longer use text notifications. Be sure to download the SCD App, request a code to activate your account, click My Account, and log in using your portal credentials.

The SCD App is available in the Apple Store and Google Play.
