Jenna Demers

Jenna began her dance journey at Studio 109 when she was 3 years old. She was trained in the styles of ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, tap, and pom. Jenna became a part of the performance troupe when she was 5 years old and did competitive dance until she was 15 years old. In 2019 Jenna began to transition from performance to technique and began dancing with Sole City while still competing.  In 2021 she shifted her entire dance focus on technique at Sole City Dance where she also became part of the Solstice Dance Company. She  continued to dance throughout high school.

Jenna grew up as a teachers assistant at Studio 109 and Sole City, which sparked her interest for teaching. Over the years, Jenna has choreographed group dances, and also a solo, which were performed by the Solstice dance company at Sole City.

Jenna graduated, with Honors, from Noble High School and Sanford High Regional Technical Center in 2025. She also attended college classes through York County Community College her Junior and Senior year. She was a member of the National Honor Society for both schools. Jenna currently attends York County Community College full time and will be transferring to the University of New England her last 2 years of college. Her goal is to graduate UNE with a degree in Dental Hygiene. Her plan is to be a Pediatric Dental Hygienist. Alongside Jenna being a dance teacher, she also works at Portsmouth Pediatric Dentistry as a steri-tech.

Jenna is very excited to be a part of the SCD faculty and share her passion with the students. She hopes to inspire them to love dance as much as she does!
