Jazz Dance Teacher – Now Hiring
Sole City Dance, a nonprofit performing arts organization in Somersworth, NH, is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Jazz Dance Teacher to join our faculty starting November 6th, open to starting sooner to work with current instructor for a smooth transition.
Responsibilities
Teach jazz dance classes
Provide strong technical training while fostering creativity, confidence, and a love of dance.
Prepare students for end of year performance, and completed end of year evaluations for students
Maintain a positive, professional, and supportive classroom environment.
Collaborate with faculty and staff to support the studio’s educational and artistic mission.
Qualifications
Background in jazz dance with strong technique and performance experience.
Prior teaching experience preferred (studio, school, or higher ed).
Ability to connect with and motivate students of different ages and abilities.
Strong communication, reliability, and professionalism.
Schedule & Compensation
Start date Thursday, November 6th
Thursdays 7:45-9:00 Teen Jazz 3/4/5 ages 15+
Compensation based on experience
Opportunities to choreograph for our outreach performance companies and other additional productions
