Dorrie Brodeur has been dancing at Sole City Dance since age three, training in ballet, contemporary jazz, modern, and acro. She started interning for young children's classes at age 12 and has loved getting to know students, learning about facilitating classes, and observing her senior teachers. 

She has performed in many shows, such as The Nutcracker, as well as The Moonspinners Mystery, where she performed her favorite role as a dream-spinning Moonspinner. Dorrie has also participated in many community showcases with the Young Company, and eventually Solstice Dance Company, at Dance Northeast, Dancers Making a Difference, and the Prescott Park Arts Festival. 

Dorrie plans to continue dancing throughout the rest of high school and hopes to keep dance as a creative outlet in college. She is thrilled to be co-teaching a class this year, and sharing the joy and art of dance with younger students!
