Meghan McCoy Seedner received her early training at the Portsmouth School of Ballet, and spent summers at the Joffrey Ballet in NYC and Jose Mateo Ballet Theatre in Cambridge, MA. She received her BA in Theatre and Dance from the University of New Hampshire. Upon Graduation Meghan joined the Portland Ballet Company in 2010. While with Portland she performed in many classical and contemporary works, such as Giselle, Sleepy Hollow, The Armed man, Swan Lake, Boy Meets Girl and numerous roles in the Nutcracker. In 2013, she joined the Teatrul de Balet Sibiu, in Romania where she enjoyed dancing featured roles in Coppelia, Le Corsaire, The Four Seasons, Tarantella, Misa Profana, and the Nutcracker. Upon returning to the States, Meghan began her teaching career and continued dancing as a guest artist with Portland Ballet and other companies and schools across the Seacoast. She believes in the beauty and strength of classical ballet as a solid foundation for any dancers training and strives share that joy and beauty with her students.
Meghan is now a mom to 4 little ones and as her family has grown she has expanded her ballet talents into choreography. Creating multiple works that have been seen across the Seacoast.
